Routine appointments
You can request a routine appointment in advance during opening times.
You can also:
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App)
- use our nurse or healthcare assistant appointment request form and we will respond within 2 working days
- phone us on 01603 475555, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use your answers to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or healthcare professional to help you.
Urgent appointments
To request an urgent appointment:

When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with to ensure that you get support by the most appropriate person.
Cancelling or changing an appointment
Much valuable consulting time is lost by missed appointments. Please try to arrive in good time and, let us know if you are unable to attend so that your appointment slot can be offered to somebody else.

Enhanced access
Further appointments are available weekdays from 6:30pm to 8pm and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. These appointments maybe in way of face to face, over the phone or online consultations and could also be offered for you to attend at another location across the PCN.

However you choose to contact us, we may offer you a consultation:
- by phone
- face to face at the surgery
Appointments by phone can be more flexible and often means you get help sooner.
If you need help when we are closed
If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.
NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.
Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Please tell us:
- if you need an interpreter
- if you have any other access or communication needs
Home visits
If you are housebound and need an appointment, we will provide a home visit. We will phone you first to understand what you need. To request a home visit, it’s helpful if you phone the practice as soon after 8am as possible.Please note, Lack of transport is not an acceptable reason for requesting a visit.
