Opening times

Enhanced access

Magdalen Medical Practice recognises that not all patients are able to attend practice during the normal opening hours of 8am to 6:30pm, so in order to provide greater choice and to meet the needs of all patient groups additional appointments are now available.

A survey was carried out and the practice Patient Participation Group were consulted, and it was agreed that appointments should be available earlier in the mornings in order to support patients prior to them attending work or school. In addition to that further appointments are available from 6:30pm to 8pm and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. These appointments maybe in way of face to face, over the phone or online consultations and could also be offered for you to attend at another location across the PCN.

If you need help when we are closed

If you need medical help now, use NHS 111 online or call 111.

NHS 111 online is for people aged 5 and over. Call 111 if you need help for a child under 5.

Call 999 in a medical or mental health emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.
